TC provides tours of corporate facilities as well as monthly workshops on a range of topics including financial stability, marketing yourself, professionalism, and much more.

Corporate Tour: Mackey Arena

Ever wonder what Mackey looks like beyond the arena? Now is your chance! Tippy Connect's Professional Development is hosting a tour at Mackey Arena on Thursday April 26th 11:30a-1pm. The tour will start at 11:30am and be given by Director of Fan Experience and Tippy Connect member Derick Stoulil. We will get to see the ins and outs of where players and fans celebrate Boiler Ball!  The cost is free to Tippy Connect members and $5 for non-members.  


Executive Round Table: 

Tippy Connect hosted the 4th Annual Executive Roundtable with a panel of business leaders from the Greater Lafayette Area. This year's panelists were:

Corporate Tour: People's Brewing Company, 2006 N. 9th Street, Lafayette, IN 

Join other GOLD members for a tour of People's Brewing Company at 5pm on October 25th, 2011. The tour is free. At People's Brewing, their belief is, "Everyone likes a craft beer...they just don't know it." Come try the craft beers People's currently has on tap. After the tour, attendees can purchase a sample of five 6 ounce beers at $6! Come enjoy a hand-crafted beer!

Lunch with A Leader: “It’s Not Rocket Science!” - Al Diaz, Executive Vice President for Business & Finance, Treasurer at Purdue University

On Monday, May 23rd, enjoy lunch with Purdue’s executive vice president for business and finance, treasurer, Alphonso (Al) V. Diaz, will join us to discuss his leadership and experiences from NASA and beyond, but “It’s Not Rocket Science!” This will be Gold member only event.
Al joined Purdue in 2009 under France Cordova, coming from the University of California at Riverside. He previously held roles with NASA, where he served as director of the Goddard Space Flight Center and as associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate.
Al brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this luncheon for our Gold members. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Corporate Tour: Caterpillar, 3701 State Road 26 East, Lafayette, IN

Join us for lunch on Monday, April 18th at 11:00am and a plant tour of Caterpillar's facility in Lafayette.
This event is Gold Member Only and limited to the first 30 people to register. The tour will begin with lunch at 11:00am with the tour following. The tour will take a full 2 hours to walk the facility.
Price is $15 per person for lunch. Reservations are required and must be received by Friday, April 15.


Lunch with the Law (GOLD MEMBERS ONLY)

Join us for a personal lunch on Monday, March 21st, to get to know and ask questions of the Police departments in our community. Private conversations will be the focus at this small and intimate setting.

City of West Lafayette Chief of Police, Jason Dombkowski;   Purdue University Police Chief, John K Cox; City of Lafayette Chief of Police, Don Roush and Tippecanoe County Sheriff Tracy Brown will be joining us for this lunch.

Lunch will be a catered meal at Lafayette Bank & Trust in the community room, 250 Main Street. Networking and registration is from 11:30-12. Lunch will be served at Noon.
