WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Tippy Connect Young Professionals announced today that CEO of MJV Management, Marc Vaughn, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Tippy Connect Annual Gala. This event will present awards to six young professionals who have made a lasting impact in the community this year. The event is scheduled to take place December 9 at 5:30p.m. in the Shively Club at Ross-Ade Pavilion.

This year’s Annual Gala will open the night with a silent auction, networking, and appetizers at 5:30p.m. Vaughn, the keynote speaker, will follow during dinner. The following awards will also be presented: Top Employer of Young Professionals, Entrepreneurial Young Professional of the Year, Best Tippy Connect Ambassador, Young Professional Philanthropist of the Year, and Most Valuable Professional Athlete of the Year. After, dancing and networking will continue until 11p.m. Tickets for the Annual Gala are $45 for TCYP Gold members and $60 for TCYP Silver members. Tickets are available to the general public for $60 through the Greater Lafayette Commerce website.

Tippy Connect Young Professionals was created and established in 2006 by Greater Lafayette Commerce to highlight the impact young professionals make in the community. The TCYP steering committee consists of eight local young professionals and two community leaders. TCYP currently hosts three annual events, two community fundraisers, and a series of monthly professional development opportunities for young professionals.
