Tippy Connect Elects New Leadership 

LAFAYETTE, IN – Tippy Connect Young Professionals will be starting the fall with new 

leadership. Angela Tamer, Branch Manager, Old National Bank will succeed Travis Brown, 
President of the TBI Group, as President of the organization. Lori Bauerle of Team MJV will fill 
the vice president role, vacated by Ms. Tamer’s election to President. “I am very proud of the way 
Angela and Lori have both served Tippy Connect and I believe they will make a great leadership 
team to move the organization forward,” says Brown. 


In addition to a new president and vice president other posts will be lead by new team members. In 
the executive committee Brianne Keyes, Sr. Tax Analyst with Wabash National, will replace Tressa 
Heath, Reed CPA, as the organization’s treasurer. Heath will stay on as an advisory member. 
Cameron Chambers, Keystone Architecture, will remain as the group’s secretary. 


The leadership team also took this opportunity to appoint new leaderships for committees and 
restructure some of the events. The events committee will now consist of the Professional 
Development Committee and the Social Events Committee. 


Executive Committee Members 

President, Angela Tamer - Angela is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in 
Mechanical Engineering and a Boiler athlete in Women's Swimming and Diving. She is a manager 
at Old National Bank, owns Red Fox Flowers, a wedding, event and corporate floral business and 
volunteers for many community organizations and committees. 


Vice President, Lori Bauerle - Account Executive for Team MJV since January 2009. Lori received 
a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Purdue. She is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette and 
serves the community in various capacities including Greater Lafayette Commerce Ambassador, 
the Alzheimer’s Association and the Walk to end Alzheimer’s and the former chair of the Events 
Committee for Tippy Connect. 


Treasurer, Brianne Keyes - Brianne Keyes is a Senior Tax Analyst for Wabash National 
Corporation. Brianne is a graduate from Butler University who is also a Leadership Lafayette 
Graduate (Class 40). She is currently on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of 
Wabash Valley and works with Junior Achievement. 

Secretary, Cameron Chambers - Cameron Chambers is a designer with Keystone Architecture. 
Keystone specializes in residential, commercial, and health care through the design and 
construction phases of architecture. 


Appointed Committee Chairs 

Membership, Kyle Burke – Kyle is owner/president of Eight 38 Sign Co. in Lafayette. Eight 38 
Sign Co. specializes in visual communication be it outdoor, indoor, or on your vehicle. Kyle's 
specific duties involve bringing clients in, customer service, and project management. Kyle sits on 
the board of Matrix Lifeline Pregnancy Center. 

Public Relations & Advertising, this position is currently open and Tippy Connect is looking for a 
leader with copywriting, design, graphic design and professional writing experience. 


Community Involvement, York Pollert - York Pollert is the Director of Lafayette Operations for 
Don R. Scheidt and Co., and has lived in the Lafayette area since 2007. York is the Chair of the 
Community Involvement Committee for Tippy Connect. York is also on the Public Relations 
committee for the Lafayette Regional Association of Realtors, and an active member of Grace 
Lutheran Church. 


Professional Development, Marci Morin - Marci Morin is the Sales and Marketing Care 
Coordinator for Comfort Keepers of Lafayette. She is an outgoing individual who has made 
Lafayette her home for eight years after attending Purdue University. In her free time, she 
volunteers with The Access to Success Mentoring Program; Walk to End Alzheimer's, Dancing in 
the Streets, and a Chamber Ambassadors. 

Social Events, Tera Kleinfelter - Tera Kleinfelter is the Assistant Managing Editor for Samhain 
Publishing. Her volunteer work includes the Special Olympics and Read to Succeed. 


Tippy Connect is the first young professional’s organization in Tippecanoe County. Formed in 
2006 the group is lead by a volunteer executive committee and subcommittees that support the 
organization’s three goals, professional development, social development and community service.
