We are live and doing well! Today's Launch Lunch was great! Approximately 40 people attended and celebrated the launch! Dr. Konrath, orthopedic surgeon at Unity, delivered the keynote speech and shared his wonderful pictures from his treks up the world's tallest peaks.
We have lots of events coming up next week! Thursday, August 28th starts with a tour of the Cat plant on State Road 26. Caterpillar is an economic engine in this community, pun intended, and we are fortunate to have them giving us a behind-the-scenes tour. Also on Thursday, Aug. 28 is After Hours at Red Seven.
Saturday is Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival. Is anyone planning to go?

Jazz and blues sound great, but unfortunately I'll be in St. Louis for the Cards / Braves series this weekend.
I'm glad to see Lafayette is starting to have more of these types of events.
I'll be at the CAT tour, but unfortunately out of town on the weekend. Bummer, too, cause I love the Jazz and Blues Festival!

You should have gone to the Indians game if you're a baseball fan. It was an awesome time.

Yeah, my wife and I usually go to a few Indians games each year with her family. The games on the fireworks night are the best (and you can't beat the $1 night either - Tuesday's I believe).
Hi all, just a quick note to let you know the new user registration "glitch" has been fixed. We needed a copy of Mail::Sendmail installed on the server, which Wintek very quickly setup for us. Now, when a new user registers they will receive a confirmation email to activate the account.
