Laps, Legends & Legacy:  Honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!  This is the 2009 Theme for the Mini-Marathon.  The "Mini" is a 13.1 race where you get to run on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  We have several Tippy Connect members running in the Mini! 

Help cheer them on in spirit!! 

Do you have a run that you are involved with?  Share!!  We would love to hear about it!

I can't believe how quickly we have already come to March of 2009.  Have you been to an After Hours yet this year??  If not, there are always plenty of opportunities.  They are always the 2nd Monday and 4th Thursday of each month.

We do have other networking options available.  We are on Facebook and LinkedIn.  Look us up and begin connecting with other young professionals in Greater Lafayette!  We have a diverse group that continues to group with each function, activity and day.

Hello Tippy Connect!

I hope all is going well so far in this young year of 2009! 

We have already had our first After Hours of the year.  Our calendar is updated with our Professional Development workshop and all of the After Hours.  We will have our Professional Development workshops on a quarterly basis and our first one is on February 11th. 

We try to have impromptu events among our business associates.  Keep looking back for those events as well!

There were 996 visits to the website yesterday and today almost 200.  Interestingly, our website was viewed from Belgium, UK, France and China!  Thanks Stormfront for the great tracker!

We are live and doing well!  Today's Launch Lunch was great!  Approximately 40 people attended and celebrated the launch!  Dr. Konrath, orthopedic surgeon at Unity, delivered the keynote speech and shared his wonderful pictures from his treks up the world's tallest peaks. 

We have lots of events coming up next week!  Thursday, August 28th starts with a tour of the Cat plant on State Road 26.  Caterpillar is an economic engine in this community, pun intended, and we are fortunate to have them giving us a behind-the-scenes tour.  Also on Thursday, Aug. 28 is After Hours at Red Seven.

Saturday is Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival.  Is anyone planning to go?
